Running Parallels on Mac may cause error 1606
This article helps you resolve the "1606" error that occurs when you run Parallels Tools on a Mac.

Symptoms
When you try to install Microsoft Visual Studio on a Mac that’s running Parallels Tools, you experience the error "1606" and you receive an error message that refers to a \\.psf folder.
Resolution
To fix this issue, see Windows cannot access the \Mac\Home\Desktop notification, and then reinstall the “Parallels Tools” integration part that is specific to Macs that are running Parallels.
